Welcome to Imhotep International Soccer Association. We are a non- profit organization run almost entirely by volunteers. There are volunteer opportunities for all programs with a variety of time commitments and responsibilities. We need the community support of parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and friends to come out and help make our club a family-friendly and fun environment for children who want to learn and develop skills both on and off the soccer field.

Our motto of "PRACTICE LIKE A WINNER ON AND OFF THE FIELD" is one that emphasis education, physical fitness, and diversity. Show your children that volunteering is a commitment to them and to the community. You do not need to know how to play soccer to help with most positions, just a desire to help and inspire our young members to act like winners.

We can use your help with the following:

Concession Stand:
Choose at least 2, 1 hour sessions per season to serve refreshments out of our tents. Hours available vary per game day.

Field Workday:
Once per season we will get together for a variety of things, ie: painting, landscaping, field
maintenance, and cleaning.

Field Set-up and Break-down:
Moving goals and/or flags and garbage cans on game days and on practice days. Approximately 1
hour prior and 1 hour after, depending on # of volunteers per session.

Field Marshall:
A 2 hour shifts during your game so you can watch it. Help ensure a safe, benevolent environment
for our youth and spectators to enjoy the game of soccer by monitoring parents, assisting visiting
teams, and insuring that all trash are picked up after your team’s game.

Park Maintenance:
Outlying areas around field and concession stand. Need volunteers willing to assist with maintaining grass and landscaping. All equipment provided by IISA.

Registration Support:
Assist with seasonal registrations as well as camp, clinic, and tryout registrations.

Team Coach:
Coach game and run team practices assisted by the club trainer. Attend coach clinic provided by
IISA, confirm your roster and attend coach meetings

Team Manager:
Help your coach manage the team by getting uniforms, practice schedules, registration, and other
pertinent information to parents. Arrange tournament registration and collection of fees. Arrange
team meetings and collect club forms.

Team Assistant:
Assist the Team Manager by organizing snack schedules, end of season party, pictures, and other team related issues.

Fundraising:
Assist the Club Director with finding sponsors for IISA players, teams, events, or equipments.
Develop ideas for Club and Team fundraisers.

Event Coordinator:
Develop and organize special events for the club to increase community awareness and involvement in IISA.

Marketing
Help design flyers and create ads for the club. Promote IISA by distributing marketing materials and posting signs. Write article about the club for local newspapers.

Age Group Coordinator (U6 or U8)
Act as a liaison between Recreational Director, coaches and team managers. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Recruit coaches if necessary for assigned age group, Forward club emails to coaches and team managers, answer all pertinent emails and forward to appropriate person if required, & Act as contact person regarding pictures and uniforms for assigned age group.
